Аналитики IDC и Counterpoint Research теперь ожидают, что из-за описываемых выше проблем рынок смартфонов в этом году сократится как минимум на 2 %. Если новые прогнозы оправдаются, поставки смартфонов на мировой рынок сократятся впервые с 2023 года.
В прошлом году рынок ПК вырос на 8,1 %, по данным IDC, но в этом он рискует сократится как минимум на 4,9 %. По мнению аналитиков TrendForce, поставки игровых консолей в этом году упадут на 4,4 %, хотя в прошлом они выросли на 5,8 %. Поскольку основная часть популярных игровых консолей сейчас находится не в той фазе жизненного цикла, чтобы провоцировать снижение спроса своим устареванием, оно будет объясняться именно экономическими причинами.
