Китай успешно провёл ключевой тест системы аварийного спасения нового пилотируемого космического корабля Mengzhou («Мэнчжоу»), который разрабатывается специально для лунных миссий. Тест проведён 11 февраля 2026 года на космодроме Вэньчан в провинции Хайнань с использованием прототипа ракеты-носителя «Чанчжэн-10». Для ракеты и корабля это был первый полёт, и оба они справились с задачей на отлично, что приблизило Китай к полёту на Луну с экипажем на борту.

В ходе испытания корабль успешно отделился от ракеты в момент максимального ускорения, что было важно для проверки работы системы экстренного спасения экипажа. После этого капсула приводнилась в заданном районе океана. Корабль оснащён независимыми твердотопливными двигателями для аварийного спасения и возвращения экипажа, что значительно повышает безопасность по сравнению с предыдущими системами, заимствованными у российских «Союзов», которые эвакуируются путём подрыва специальных зарядов на ракете.
Непосредственно новая ракета «Чанчжэн-10» для испытаний была представлена в урезанной конфигурации — только в виде первой ступени. Но именно эта ступень технически наиболее сложная: она предназначена для повторного использования, поэтому контролируемо возвращается на Землю на своих двигателях. Испытания показали, что первая ступень способна повторно запускать двигатели и спускаться в заданную точку — в частности, в этот раз её приводнили в океан. В полной конфигурации ракета «Чанчжэн-10» будет трёхступенчатой с боковыми ускорителями. Этот испытательный полёт ещё впереди.
Корабль «Мэнчжоу» будет представлен в двух модификациях: семиместной для орбитальных миссий и с меньшим количеством мест для полётов к Луне. Осуществить высадку на Луну Китай рассчитывает не позже 2030 года. В этом его планы пока отстают от планов США — высадить людей снова на Луне до окончания полномочий президента Дональда Трампа (не позже 20 января 2029 года). Однако лунная программа NASA чрезвычайно замедлилась, и вовсе не факт, что всё произойдёт так, как планируется. Но это будет уже другая история.
