Примерно так же поступит «Роскосмос», закрепив ядро будущей станции РОС на МКС и только затем отделив его от старой станции.
NASA ещё не приняло окончательного решения по судьбе коммерческих станций. 25 марта агентство опубликовало запрос на получение информации (RFI) для оценки рынка и технических предложений по базовому модулю, ответы на который ждут до 8 апреля.
